About Chi Chi Publishing
Hey there! We're Chi Chi Publishing, and specialize in books for little kids!
We're Mommy and Daddy to three awesome toddlers — our world is full of giggles, mysterious sock disappearances, and impromptu dance parties in the kitchen!
We started writing children's stories when our children would ask for an 'invisible story' at bedtime - thinking on the fly, we'd take one line each, and before we knew it, we were creating stories that made us all laugh out loud! Memories that we'll treasure forever.
That is why, and when our journey into book writing began. We wanted to create something beautiful for our children out of those special moments.
Our children love books, and we love reading together - but moreover, we found that our children are inspired by beautiful imagery, often elaborating on the stories within the books, inspired by the pictures that accompany the words.
We decided that all our books needed to have beautiful creative imagery - pictures and illustrations that inspire imagination beyond the words on the page - books that children will love to read over and over again, using their imaginations to bring the stories to life.
From there, we branched into coloring books, inspired by the stories we were reading, we wanted to further encourage our children's creativity and imagination.
We create coloring books with simple pictures, and cute, kawaii themes, age appropriate for toddlers and small children. We intentionally create space around the coloring pictures to allow for creativity and free-drawing, perfect for when a child feels inspired by the images in the coloring book and wants to elaborate, embellish, or just doodle around the picture.
